For those who followed the story of Friends during his ten seasons, a detail that attracted much attention, as the chapters went by, was the drastic physical change that Chandler Bing, the character played by Matthew Perry, showed.

And it is that the metamorphosis of the actor was so noticeable that it already became worrying among the followers of the series. The reason? The addiction that generated the consumption of Vicodín to the actor as a result of a water skiing accident.

And now Perry, 50, was caught by the paparazzi on his way out of a restaurant in Los Angeles. In the images you can see the actor quite scruffy, disheveled and with an emaciated appearance.

It was in 1997 when Matthew Perry entered rehabilitation for the first time, at which time he was recording the Friends series. Years later he also admitted that during this time he came to drink a couple of bottles of vodka and thirty tablets of Vicodin a day.

The problems for the actor would continue in the following years. In May 2000 he was hospitalized again due to pancreatitis. The artist began to show signs of recovery only in early 2001 and that is when he asks for his parent's help.

The last television work in which he highlighted the actor was in the miniseries The Kennedys After Camelot, in 2017. Perry gave life to the brother of the American president.
