The Texas Rangers are looking for their new Adrián Beltré
for the 2020 MLB campaign and it's not Anthony Rendón.
The Rangers will not only release their new stadium for
the 2020 MLB season but also want to return to the ranking of the playoffs they
have not reached since 2016.
In Texas they are aware that to put people in their new
stadium not only the campaign that comes from MLB is enough with the novelty of
the new thing but also with having a competitive team that fights for the
postseason classification.
And while for the Rangers the retirement of their top
leader in recent years Adrian Beltre is very recent just one campaign of that,
in Texas they showed in the 2019 MLB season that they can fight to return to
the playoffs.
So the Rangers are looking for their new Beltre and it is
not Anthony Rendón, a native of Texas, but Josh Donaldson, who the Atlanta
Braves seek to renew for at least one more year.
But the Rangers can offer Donaldson a longer contract
than the Braves for at least 2 or 3 years.
So Donaldson would guarantee more years of contract, more
money, even his return to the American League, where he was the Most Valuable
Player in 2015.
