Apparently, the years of multiple surgeries and aesthetic procedures are passing a very high bill to Rodrigo Alves, better known in social networks as the "human Ken".
About a year ago, Alves had to urgently visit a hospital in Malaga, Spain, for complications following nose surgery that caused necrosis and a dangerous staph infection. Now, a doctor in Los Angeles has given the terrible news that he could lose his nose when facing other medical complications.
"We have to rebuild your nose completely", said renowned plastic surgeon Paul Nassif at the Botched (E!) Show where the unique character appeared as a guest. "This is going to die and you're going to fall", the doctor added. Making a circle around the nose with his forefinger before the terrified look of Alves, 33 years old.
"The problem is what we call soft wrapping tissue, that's the skin". Nassif continued. "So you underwent three surgeries in a period of 12 to 15 months, you destroyed the tissue", exclaimed the specialist. While another show doctor confirmed: "The skin is not good".
