To avoid allergies you can prepare your own natural deodorant, which will help you achieve a lesser skin irritation and avoid the allergic problems that often presents the use of commercial deodorant.
There are many reasons why we should be concerned about the use of antiperspirants and commercially available deodorants. These are just a few of the dangers that these products can pose with chemicals and contaminants and you can also learn step by step how to make your own natural probiotic deodorant.
There are hidden dangers in the active ingredients of conventional deodorant (ie, aluminum, parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, and Triclosan). Current research shows a strong relationship between aluminum-containing antiperspirants and breast cancer, birth defects, allergies, and hormonal imbalances.
Let the body do what the body is going to do. I believe that when we try to inhibit the natural functions of the body, we negatively affect the rhythms created with a purpose.
It was these concerns and research knowledge about probiotics, which led me to create my own solution by developing this natural deodorant.
How to prepare natural probiotic deodorant
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon. Cocoa butter
- 1 tablespoon. coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon. Of shea butter
- 1 tablespoon. Bee wax
- 2 1/2 tbs. Arrowroot
- 1 tablespoon. sodium bicarbonate
- 1/4 tsp. Vitamin E oil
- 15 drops of essential oil of your choice
- 2 Capsules of probiotic powder
Method of elaboration
1. Melt the cocoa butter, coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax over low heat.
2. Remove the pan from the fire, then add the arrowroot powder and baking soda. Beat with Chinese chopsticks until all powders dissolve and combine. Add vitamin E oil and essential oils at this time. Let the mixture cool in the mold. Once it cools and acquires a consistency of flan, open the powdered probiotic capsules and add to the mixture. Stir with a spatula to combine quickly.
3. Add the mixture to a clean container of deodorant. Place in refrigerator to cool and harden. This recipe with the full container lasts at least 3-4 months. Remember, a little and it will last a long way.
Recommendations
1. When choosing a probiotic supplement for this natural deodorant, it is important to find one that is stable in storage. It should also contain beneficial bacteria of high resistance such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria. These "good bacteria" have the ability to survive the acidic pH of the stomach during digestion and are those that should be included in this recipe.
2. If you have sensitive skin, replace the use of baking soda and use only arrowroot powder exclusively. You can also consider the omission of essential oils.
3. Use good essential oils of any aroma or make a combination of aromas. So pick your favorite and have fun with it.
